ABOUT THE REELBACK FILM SUMMIT

OVERVIEW

Seven Hillz Productions Foundation is on a mission to “Inspire Aspiring Filmmakers.” The organization is the non-profit arm of 7 Hillz Productions that allows them to give back to the community. Seven Hillz Productions Foundation is hosting the inaugural “Reelback Film Summit” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2 on the campus of Florida A&M University Homecoming Week, 1625 S. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Tallahassee. The summit will not only give aspiring filmmakers the chance to understand the realities of what being in this industry takes, but also the ability to network with veteran filmmakers face-to-face.

Special guests include: Journalist, Author and Head of Development of Rainforest Entertainment Mitzi Miller, actress KJ Smith, Journalist and producer Georgia Dawkins, Filmmaker Akil Du Pont, Creative Director LaShannon Petit, 7 Hillz Co-Founders Breion Moses and Chrys Calixte, Senior Advisor, Production & Investment Planning at The Walt Disney Company Chiquita Woolfolk Banks, ESQ., President of KORIS Media, Business Coach and Filmmaker Brandi Mitchell, Actor and Activist Ben Carlton, TV & Radio Personality and Journalist Tyler Tyson, actor Julian Hanlan, and 2X Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter/trombonist Saunders Sermons.
